I started teaching drums in 2011, and have taught children and adults from beginner level upwards.
So - why would someone want to learn to play the drums? Here are three excellent reasons:
1) it's creatively fulfilling. Being able to express yourself musically and artistically is a great thing to have in your life.
2) it can give you a good cardio workout! Playing the drums can help keep you in shape and feeling physically healthy.
3) it's FUN!
That last one is probably the most important.
I love playing the drums and I love teaching the drums. I'm passionate about what I do, and I want to pass that on to my students.
What I want is to help people express their love of music in a fun way - by becoming excellent at the drums!
I teach in South London, and I can teach various syllabuses: Trinity Drumkit, Trinity Rock and Pop, and RockSchool. But if you're not interested in doing that and you just want to jam and learn to play drum fills - that's fine, too!
So if you or someone you know wants to have fun and learn the drums - get in touch!
My price for a 1-hour lesson is £45, and I offer discounts for block bookings. I have access to rehearsal rooms in North, West, and South London and can teach from there or at a student's home or rehearsal space. I also offer online lessons via Zoom and Skype.
